Summit Liability Solutions Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join the Environmental Assessment Services Division as an INTERMEDIATE Environmental Specialist based out of our Head Office in Calgary, AB.

The Job:
Your primary duties include organizing/managing work plans for selected oil and gas clients, follow up with office and field staff to ensure necessary field and office work is executed in a timely fashion, review of all daily field reports, diagrams and site observations, make site recommendations, manage, maintain and track progress on all reports, report writing and review, invoicing, minor software and systems improvement, communication with regulatory bodies and maintenance of client communication and relationship.

You will be supported by the entire Summit organization which consists of a dynamic Team of technical administrators, business development professionals, an in house IT department and many other highly experienced, skilled and educated Professionals. You will report directly to the Manager, Environmental Assessment Services who is based out of Calgary, AB.

The successful applicant will possess the following:
•Candidates must be prepared to work in a multidisciplinary project team environment
•Ability to undertake a variety of project-related tasks related to remediation/spills
•Minimum 3 years direct oil and gas experience
•Knowledge of AB regulations

Desired Skills and Experience:
•Drilling waste management experience (an asset)
•Strong leadership skills
•Excellent communication and technical writing skills
•Strong computer skills
•Good interpersonal and leadership skills

Minimum Requirements:
•Minimum 3 years direct environmental services experience
•A University Degree or College Diploma (science based) from a recognized institution
•Professional Designation or designation in process
