Intermediate Environmental Professional

Job Description:
Provide technical expertise for investigation and remediation programs, including direction of non intrusive and intrusive site investigations, and monitoring
Fieldwork support, specifically analytical testing programs, data reduction and analysis, selection of appropriate remediation technologies, assistance in remediation system design, evaluation of remediation system efficiencies.
Report writing and/or report review.
May include execution of (or assistance in) field programs, project management, client liaison and supervision or mentoring of junior staff
Design and execution of field investigation programs
Qualifications:
There are two positions available, one in our Nanaimo location and the other in our upcoming Prince George office. We will be making a short list of applicants for the Prince George location.
This position provides an opportunity for an experienced individual to be part of a growing Vancouver Island based company. Ideal candidates have a bachelor or advanced degree in soils, engineering, geosciences, environmental sciences, or a related field (eligibility for professional registration is preferred). Three to five years progressive work experience in the environmental field is preferable. Experience with contaminated sites and remediation is considered an asset. Successful candidates will be self-motivated, organized, articulate, capable of maintaining impartiality and team oriented. Applicants must have a commitment to providing quality services and strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Salary will be commensurate with experience and abilities.
