The position will primarily involve field work; however, hands-on experience and demonstrated abilities and efficiencies in the field will progressively lead toward project management tasks such as, design and implementation of assessment and remediation programs, report preparation and client liaison.

Some travel is required; therefore a valid driver's license and successful completion of a driver's evaluation will be mandatory. The successful candidates will also be required to complete a medical examination, and authorize us to conduct random drug testing, a requirement of some of our clients.

We are searching for candidates who have recently graduated a recognized program in earth sciences who are looking to specialize in reclamation in the upstream oil and gas industry. O’Connor Associates, A Parsons Company is looking for personnel familiar with the reclamation certificate process in cultivated and forested areas. An ideal candidate must be working towards P.Ag. or equivalent designation recognized by Alberta Environment and Water, have interest in Reclamation Certificates at upstream sites in Alberta, have a desire to be part of the reclamation group within O’Connor Associates, A Parsons Company’s Calgary office, and be a self-assured individual with strong communication skills and a commitment to quality client service.
