DESCRIPTION:Inclusive workplaces don’t just feel better; they perform better. This workshop explores how diversity\, equity\, and inclusion contribute directly to stronger teams\, better ideas\, and improved organizational outcomes. Participants will learn how inclusive practices enhance creativity\, decision-making\, and retention while supporting measurable business results. Using real data and SME case studies\, the session will highlight how DEI strategies can be woven into hiring\, performance management\, and culture-building. Attendees will leave with practical tools to turn inclusion into a lasting advantage within their own organizations. \n \n \nSpeaker\n\n\nAndrew Janzic\n\n \nI believe strong leadership and thoughtful people practices are essential to building a more sustainable future.\nAt ECO Canada\, I’ve had the privilege of working at the intersection of HR and environmental workforce development\,\nsupporting both our internal team and sector-wide initiatives that help environmental organizations thrive. \nWith over a decade of HR experience\, I’ve led efforts in recruitment\, organizational change\, performance management\,\nand employee engagement; always with a focus on integrity\, accountability\, and long-term impact. In my current role\nas HR Business Partner\, I support leaders in making informed\, people-focused decisions while also contributing to\nnational programs that strengthen workforce development across the environmental sector. \nI’m especially passionate about helping mission-driven organizations grow in a way that’s both people-centered and\nfuture-ready.
