His career spans various energy sectors (oil and natural gas\, electrical power\, utilities)\, as well as the nonprofit sector. Tim has led teams of accountants and auditors in ensuring enterprise financial and risk controls. \nTim founded WAI Professional Corporation\, where he serves as a fractional CFO\, providing executive advisory and financial control support. He is also the co-founder of Untapped Energy Association\, a federally registered nonprofit organization that upskills professionals in data\, analytics\, and artificial intelligence literacy. \nTim is an adjunct professor at the University of Calgary’s Haskayne School of Business and an assistant professor at Mount Royal University’s Bissett School of Business. He teaches undergraduate and post-graduate students in business technology management\, accounting and digital transformation.
