Porté par ECO Canada\, le projet IGNITE vise à soutenir le développement des compétences\, à renforcer les capacités organisationnelles et à favoriser l’adoption de pratiques et de technologies contribuant à une économie canadienne à faible émission de carbone. Dans ce cadre\, Hakim joue un rôle clé dans la coordination des activités de formation et de mobilisation des parties prenantes\, et a notamment conduit la formation sur la gestion des GES auprès des entreprises partenaires du projet. Titulaire d’un baccalauréat en sciences de la Terre et de l’environnement de l’Université de Lorraine (France)\, Hakim s’intéresse particulièrement aux approches appliquées de Mesure\, Notification et Vérification (MNV) des émissions de GES. Il animera cette formation MNV en français à la ville de Québec\, en mettant l’accent sur des notions pratiques\, des études de cas et des échanges avec les participantes \n\n

He has worked hands-on with organizations across multiple sectors\, helping them build the internal capacity to meet both Canadian and international disclosure requirements and align with the frameworks that anchor credible climate reporting\, including the GHG Protocol\, ISO 14064\, and IPCC guidance\, alongside domestic regulatory and reporting obligations. \nHakim holds a Bachelor’s degree in Earth and Environmental Sciences and a Master’s degree in Geosciences from the University of Lorraine (France)\, a scientific grounding that shapes his rigorous\, evidence-based approach to emissions management and climate training. \nIn this MRV Training Program\, Hakim will unpack the international and Canadian standards that anchor credible GHG reporting\, examining their application across sectors and their implications for compliance under current and emerging regulatory regimes.
