Here are the key takeaways:

Individuals need to look for opportunities to practice and develop their project management, technical writing or delivering presentations, and other soft skills, as this will lead to success and career development. If their job does not involve these things, they should get training in these areas or ask to take on greater responsibility in these areas to continue to grow as a professional and be resilient and adaptable when times are tough.

With nearly 1 in 4 retirements expected, employers need to invest in their employees so that they can take on those vacancies at the more senior levels in order to reduce risks to their business; it is important that employers are focusing on continuously growing not only their star performers but everyone so that their business can be resilient and have a strong foundation for the future.
