DESCRIPTION:Join ECO Canada at the Environmental Professional Networking Event on October 29th\, at Confluence Distillery! \nThis is an event to bring together ECO Canada’s network of Environmental Professionals to connect in Calgary for a fun\, social\, networking event. There are no requirements to attend this free event other than a love of connecting with others. Join us to get to know some fellow Environmental Professionals in the area\, while enjoying a great venue\, food and networking. Please register so that we know how many people will be attending this unique event. \nTo celebrate the launch of the chapter the event will features a panel on AI from local experts! \nWho is this for? \nEnvironmental professionals in Calgary. \nDetails \nEPs® can register for free. Food is complimentary\, but you will have to pay for your own alcoholic beverages. Feel free to bring a non-EP® guest at a fee of $10.00. \nSpeakers: \n \nTim Chan \nWith over 20 years of professional experience\, Tim is a Chartered Professional Accountant and a Certified Internal Auditor. Through his consulting practice\, WAI Professional Corporation\, he provides executive advisory and financial control support to his clients. He is also the co-founder of Untapped Energy Association\, a federally registered nonprofit organization that upskills professionals in data\, analytics\, and artificial intelligence literacy. \nTim is an adjunct professor at the University of Calgary’s Haskayne School of Business and an assistant professor at Mount Royal University’s Bissett School of Business. He teaches undergraduate and post-graduate students in business technology management\, accounting and digital transformation. \n  \n \nMohammad Keyhani \nMohammad Keyhani is an Associate Professor in Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the Haskayne School of Business\, University of Calgary\, where he teaches a popular course on Generative AI and Prompting. He has experience as Lab Strategist at the Creative Destruction Lab Rockies\, and a David Rockefeller Fellow at the Trilateral Commission.  His book “The Generativity Advantage” describes how to leverage distributed innovation in digital platforms. He is co-founder of HoneybeeLogic.com (making AI tools for schools)\, and builds experimental products like CiteFix.com (AI-powered citation solutions for research)\, Lstr.cc (AI-powered list curation tools) and other things he blogs about at DigitVibe.com
