She worked as a lecturer for 14 years\, teaching a wide range of economics courses and supervising student research projects at UC San Diego and Penn State University. More recently\, she managed labour market research initiatives including economic modelling and reporting at PetroLMI Division of Energy Safety Canada (formerly the Petroleum Human Resources Council) and conducted economic research and analysis at Brown Economic Consulting. \n \nMotunrayo Cole \nMotunrayo Cole currently works as the Research Lead on environmental labour market information at ECO Canada.  She brings a wealth of experience in statistics\, survey design\, data analysis and reporting on key indicators such as job openings\, representation\, and labour shortages for environmental professionals. He began his career as a chemical engineer in the metals and mining industry. His passion for the environment led him to complete an M.Sc. in Environmental Management and Analysis\, after which he has dedicated the past 26 years to environmental management. \nFollowing retrenchments in the paper industry\, he established himself as an independent sustainability and climate change consultant\, a role he has continued ever since. His involvement in projects such as the development of the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Protocol for Aluminium and the ISO 19870 series (Hydrogen technologies — Methodology for determining the GHG emissions associated with the hydrogen supply chain) has provided him with extensive experience in the development and application of technical standards. He was responsible for updating the South African GHG Inventory for the Energy sector (2022) and the Industrial Processes and Product Use (IPPU) sector (2024). He has also worked extensively in training companies and consultants on GHG accounting\, reporting and verification. His experience working with government has given him a deep appreciation of the broader climate change landscape and the diverse range of stakeholders involved in addressing climate-related challenges. \nCurrently\, he works as a climate change specialist in collaboration with several consultancies. His areas of expertise include carbon foot printing\, carbon strategy development\, carbon management and reporting\, validation and verification\, and climate-related financial disclosures in accordance with IFRS S2. Hendrik also has a Diploma in Carbon Management from the GHG Management Institute.

He is also the co-founder of Untapped Energy Association\, a federally registered nonprofit organization that upskills professionals in data\, analytics\, and artificial intelligence literacy. \nTim is an adjunct professor at the University of Calgary’s Haskayne School of Business and an assistant professor at Mount Royal University’s Bissett School of Business. They also add new compliance pathways and updated climatic data that better reflect the realities of a changing climate\, while strengthening energy-efficiency requirements. A new Part 10 introduces best practices for alterations to existing buildings. This all signals a move toward decarbonization\, energy-savings\, resilience\, and thoughtful future-proofing of our building stock. Throughout a distinguished career\, John has led and supported major crime investigations across Canada\, including cases involving homicide\, corruption\, and organized crime. A seasoned undercover operator for over 16 years and a licensed Private Investigator in multiple provinces\, John has conducted hundreds of polygraph examinations and has trained thousands of professionals in both law enforcement and the private sector in advanced interviewing techniques. \nAs the former leader of the Alberta RCMP Interview Assistance Team\, John provided strategic support to some of the most complex and sensitive investigations nationwide.
