Sarah Elmeligi, PhD has been researching how people and bears have shared the landscape for over 15 years. Sarah has spent her career finding ways to meaningfully contribute to ensuring human practices are sustainable and in balance with the needs of wildlife and ecosystems. Sarah is an interdisciplinary landscape ecologist who integrates biological and social research to improve land management within the realities of our changing world. Sarah believes in effectively engaging diverse communities, industries, and stakeholders to find innovative solutions to complex environmental challenges.
