Marianne joined ENCON shortly after obtaining a mathematics degree at McGill University and has now been with ENCON Group for 15 years. She began her career in the claims department, handling liability claims against various types of professionals, including those in the medical, financial, design and environmental fields. She transitioned to the underwriting department in 2016 and now manages a team of 7 underwriters in the Errors and Omissions and Information Technology department. With her experience in underwriting complex liability risks and managing their claims, Marianne provides valuable insight in claim trends and important risk management recommendations to insured professionals including members of the ECO Canada liability insurance program.
