Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for EPt(GHG), applicants must meet minimum requirements in:
- Education: ISCED Level 6-8 degree (bachelor’s master’s, doctorate) or ISCED Level 5 short-cycle tertiary education + additional GHG employment
- GHG Training: Minimum 24 hours of approved GHG training within the past 10 years

Maintaining Your Designation
To maintain in good standing, EPt(GHG) members must:
- Members must pay the annual membership fee by the due date*
- Earn 20 professional development credits per year
- Continued adherence to ethical standards
Work logs are not required for EPt(GHG), but logging experience supports progression toward EP®(GHG).
*If payment is not received within 30 days of the due date, a $50 CAD late fee will be applied. The member will also be listed as not in good standing in the public member directory until payment is received.
