EP EMPLOYER DESIGNATION
Maintaining Your EP Employer Designation
Stay at the cutting edge of environmental industry with your team of leaders
The EP Employer designation is awarded to organizations as a 5-year term. As a certified organization, you must fulfill and track annual requirements to remain in good standing. But do not worry, we will help guide you through the process and, by committing to this on-going process, your organization will thrive as leaders in the environmental sector.

We will connect with you in February each year to:
- Remind you of the annual requirements of your EP Employer Maintenance Framework
- Confirm the number of certified members in your employment that will be renewing
- Provide details on how your organization has given back to the sector and the EP Employer program (i.e. adoption of a Mentorship Program, promotion of the EP designation to clients, staff and the public, etc.)
As a commitment to enhancing your HR practices and policies, membership maintenance is required annually. There are two key components to maintaining your membership status:
- Documenting key annual activities (Professional Development) through your EP Employer Maintenance Framework
- Processing payment of your staff’s annual renewal fees.
