Start Your Career Journey at ECO Canada’s Virtual Career Fair (VCF 2025)

Are you ready to take the next step in your environmental career? Whether you’re a new graduate, a mid-career professional, or someone looking to transition into the thriving environmental sector, ECO Canada’s Virtual Career Fair (VCF 2025) on September 25th, 2025 is the perfect place to start.

Taking place entirely online, this national event* connects top talent with leading employers in Canada’s environmental sector — all from the comfort of your home.

Here’s why VCF 2025 should be on your calendar:

  1. You’re looking for a job but not sure where to start

Navigating the job market can be overwhelming — especially in a more niche field like environmental work. VCF 2025 offers a focused, curated experience that helps you bypass the noise and zero in on real opportunities. Whether you’re interested in sustainability, clean tech, environmental consulting, or policy, VCF is your career launchpad.

You’ll be able to explore roles tailored to a wide range of skill levels, from internships and entry-level positions to senior leadership opportunities.

  1. You want access to high-quality employers across the country

VCF brings together only reputable, high-impact employers who are actively hiring for roles.

In 2024, employers included major players like AtkinsRéalis, GHD, Canadian Nuclear Laboratories, and many more including Canadian Post Secondary Institutions — all with a strong presence in Canada’s green economy. Expect the same for 2025, with companies and organizations from across sectors such as energy, water, waste management, natural resources, ESG, and cleantech.

  1. You don’t have time to attend a typical career fair

“VCF has been great, easy to use, and eliminates the barriers of traditional career fairs.” -Andrei, a VCF 2024 participant.

We get it — you’re busy. That’s why VCF is fully virtual, giving you the flexibility to attend from anywhere. Whether you’re between meetings, on a break, or at home, you can log in at a time that works for you.

The online platform makes it easy to browse employer booths, download job postings, and chat with recruiters in real-time — no travel, no lineups, and no stress. All you need is a device and an internet connection.

Land Acknowledgment

In the spirit of respect, reciprocity, and truth, we acknowledge that we live, work, and gather on the traditional territories of the peoples of Treaty 7, including the Blackfoot Confederacy—comprising the Siksika, Kainai, and Piikani Nations—as well as the Îyâxe Nakoda and Tsuut’ina Nations.

This land, known as Moh’kinsstis in the Blackfoot language and encompassing what is now Districts 5 and 6, is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 3, within the historical Northwest Métis homeland.

We recognize and honour the deep connection these Nations have to the land, and we are grateful for the opportunity to share in its stewardship.

As we continue our work, we commit to learning from Indigenous knowledge systems, uplifting Indigenous voices, and fostering relationships rooted in equity, understanding, and reconciliation.
