New online training to bridge growing skills gap in Canada’s environmental workforce

CALGARY, ALBERTA – Environmental Careers Organization (ECO) Canada has launched the ECO Academy, online training courses to build business skills specific to the environment. The ECO Academy was developed in collaboration with leading environmental employers and over 20 years of environmental industry research.
Courses include Environmental Project Management and Environmental Technical Writing – the two skills environmental employers identified as the biggest existing skills gaps in their workforce today.
“The ECO Academy provides online training for environmental professionals to help round out their existing technical skills with the business skills that the environmental industry needs to grow,” said Grant Trump, CEO of ECO Canada.
ECO Academy courses provide fast, practical training that environmental professionals can apply to their day-to-day work immediately, including course content that is industry-demanded and supported.
