The Codes Acceleration Program for Indigenous Communities trains and supports Indigenous communities in adopting high energy performance building codes.

Part of Canada’s Green Buildings Strategy aims to decarbonize the building sector by funding actions that promote these energy-efficient standards.

Zero Emission Vehicles

The Zero-Emission Vehicle Awareness Initiative (ZEVAI) educates and empowers communities to adopt Zero-Emission Medium and Heavy-Duty Vehicles. It aims to boost awareness and remove barriers in sustainable transportation, targeting farming, rural, remote, Indigenous communities, small businesses, and transportation companies across Canada.

Project IGNITE

This project aims to facilitate Low-Carbon Technology Adoption and Workforce Development for GHG Emissions Reduction. It focuses on overcoming barriers to adoption, addressing the talent gap, and expanding networks for effective initiatives.

Women Reclaiming Leadership Toolkit

The Women Reclaiming Leadership Toolkit aims to provide valuable resources and support for fostering greater diversity and inclusivity within environmental workplaces.

Through practical tools, guidance, and inspiration, this toolkit empowers women to assume leadership roles and catalyze meaningful change in the industry. By doing so, it contributes to a more equitable and sustainable future.

Environmental Skills for Success Training Series

The Government of Canada's Skills for Success Program aims to enhance job seekers' foundational skills in environmental sectors and increase the number and qualified workers.

The project addresses skills and labour market challenges, collaborates to enhance job seekers' employability, and promotes inclusive talent strategies.

Work-Integrated Learning: A Net Zero Talent Pipeline

Canada will need over 40,000 skilled environmental workers entering the green workforce every year for the next decade.
