ECO Canada conducted this 2012 study to learn more about the competencies that environmental employers look for

In a sector characterized by remarkable expansion and major technological changes, environmental businesses can only truly succeed when they are able to find and keep enough skilled practitioners. The findings from this research are both timely and unexpected, with powerful take-away insights for employers, professionals and educators alike.

Highlights

  • Why being an Employer of Choice is so critical to environmental businesses
  • 4 different approaches to become an Employer of Choice
  • The HR knowledge gap between the engagement strategies that managers think their staff want versus what these employees actually prefer
