Canada’s environmental sector has shown increased growth over the past three years according to the latest study by ECO Canada. The 2013 Profile of Canadian Environmental Employment study found a steady increase in the number of environmental professionals and demand for environmental skills.

The Profile of Canadian Environmental Employment is a longitudinal study that takes place every three years. The study provides insight into the total number of environmental employees in Canada and predicts future growth for the environmental labour force.

In the spirit of respect, reciprocity and truth, we honour and acknowledge Moh’kinsstis and the traditional Treaty 7 territory and oral practices of the Blackfoot confederacy: Siksika, Kainai, Piikani, as well as the Îyâxe Nakoda and Tsuut’ina nations.
We acknowledge that this territory is home to the Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 3, within the historical Northwest Métis homeland. Finally, we recognize all Nations who live, work and play on this land and honour and celebrate this territory.
