The Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Practice (BEP), offered in partnership with Royal Roads University, is designed to equip you with the skills, knowledge, and real-world experience needed to lead in today’s rapidly evolving environmental landscape. Whether your passion lies in the arts or sciences, the BEP offers two distinct pathways tailored to your interests and career goals.

    • Diploma holders and people with 60+ college credits who want to finish a bachelor’s degree online
    • Working environmental professionals, including those with 3+ years of experience whose GPA falls short of the B requirement
    • Aspiring EP® candidates who need the academic requirements for Environmental Professional certification

Meet the Speakers:

Rhett Reilkoff

Manager, School of Environment & Sustainability, RRU

Rhett holds a B.Sc. in Land Use and Environmental Studies (University of Saskatchewan) and an MA in Environment & Management (RRU). With experience in the non-profit sector and consulting for environmental organizations, he now leads the School of Environment and Sustainability at Royal Roads University.

Dr. Leslie King

Professor, Program Head, Director – Canadian Center for Environmental Education, RRU

Dr. King has dedicated her career to advancing environmental education and sustainability. Her expertise spans environmental sciences, Indigenous perspectives, climate change, biodiversity, governance, and justice. She has held senior academic roles across Canada and the U.S., and her research includes projects in climate adaptation, knowledge systems, biodiversity, and environmental literacy worldwide.
