Nelson Lee, MASc., P.Eng., CCP®, is the founder of Green Sky Sustainability Consulting Inc., a firm dedicated to enabling climate action, empowering people, and building a better world for all. With over 40 years of global experience in industrial and environmental sectors, Nelson brings deep expertise in greenhouse gas (GHG) quantification, verification, and climate change risk and resilience strategies.
He advises corporations and governments on advancing sustainability and improving environmental, health, and safety (EHS) performance. Nelson also represents Canada in developing ISO standards
for climate change adaptation and mitigation—an effort he has contributed to for more than a decade. As an engaged educator and speaker, Nelson shares his practical insights through workshops and courses, including two recent sessions for EcoCanada (February 2025). He is an active volunteer with Engineers & Geoscientists BC (EGBC) and serves on its Climate Change and Sustainability Advisory Group (CCSAG). Nelson is a licensed professional engineer in British Columbia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan.
