NECB and Indigenous Infrastructure: Codes, Compliance, and Community
August 22 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Join ECO Canada for an engaging half-day event that delves into how energy efficiency and building codes intersect with Indigenous-led infrastructure initiatives.
“NECB and Indigenous Infrastructure: Codes, Compliance, and Community” will bring together Indigenous leaders, technical experts, and community voices to connect, share knowledge, and collaborate on how the National Energy Code of Canada for Buildings (NECB) can help shape sustainable, resilient, and culturally relevant infrastructure in Indigenous communities.
Through presentations and open dialogue, the event will explore the benefits of adopting the NECB while addressing the practical challenges of meeting code requirements and ensuring effective enforcement.
