Digitally Transform your SME with the Boost Your Business Technology Grant

Eligible businesses can get up to $15,000 to access a digital advisor, plus an interest-free loan and wage subsidy funding.

The Boost Your Business Technology grant helps Canadian-owned small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) adopt new digital technologies with the goal of increasing their competitiveness and resilience. It’s one of two grants offered through the federal Canada Digital Adoption Program.

Eligible businesses can use the Boost Your Business Technology grant to pay for up to $15,000 worth of services from a digital advisor and access an interest-free loan of up to $100,000 to acquire and implement new technologies.

Grant recipients are also eligible for up to $7,300 in wage subsidy funding to hire a student or recent graduate to help the SME achieve its digital goals. Eligible businesses

must work with a digital advisor to establish a digital adoption plan before applying for wage subsidy funding.

Once approved for the wage subsidy, SMEs can choose to hire a funded employee through the Magnet platform, use the wage subsidy for an existing employee, or hire on their own, so long as they meet the program’s eligibility requirements. SMEs that use Magnet to hire can benefit from additional support in identifying and hiring youth with the relevant skills and talents for a range of digital projects and initiatives.

The Boost Your Business Technology grant can help your business get online, give your e-commerce presence a boost, or help you digitalize your operations. Apply today and transform your business!

Please note that only an owner or director of a business can complete the application form for the Boost Your Business Technology grant. If you’re applying for the grant and have questions or need assistance, we’re always happy to help. Write to us at boostyourbusiness@magnet.today.

Land Acknowledgment

In the spirit of respect, reciprocity, and truth, we acknowledge that we live, work, and gather on the traditional territories of the peoples of Treaty 7, including the Blackfoot Confederacy—comprising the Siksika, Kainai, and Piikani Nations—as well as the Îyâxe Nakoda and Tsuut’ina Nations.

This land, known as Moh’kinsstis in the Blackfoot language and encompassing what is now Districts 5 and 6, is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 3, within the historical Northwest Métis homeland.

We recognize and honour the deep connection these Nations have to the land, and we are grateful for the opportunity to share in its stewardship.

As we continue our work, we commit to learning from Indigenous knowledge systems, uplifting Indigenous voices, and fostering relationships rooted in equity, understanding, and reconciliation.
